Christian Green has 25 years of experience leading strategic development and communications teams. He focuses on attracting major capital investment and overseeing significant projects in the United States. He has led teams responsible for over $40 billion in public and private development projects throughout his career.

Driving critical strategic initiatives and creating partnerships between public and private entities throughout the southwest and, recently, Georgia. Bridging the gap between public and private entities by building relationships built on mutual respect and trust. Green previously served as deputy director of Economic Development and Tourism in Glendale, Arizona, where his team won an International Economic Development Council (IEDC) award for their efforts during the 2023 Super Bowl hosted in Glendale. Before this, Green worked as the economic development/tourism manager for the city of Scottsdale, Arizona.

Christian is an accomplished team builder with a proven track record of advancing an organization’s mission. His background includes experience with economic development, government relations, urban affairs, complex project management, strategic analysis and implementation, creating synergy with diverse partners, and producing winning environments focused on accomplishing goals.

Most recently, Green had served as the director of Economic Development and Tourism in the city of Stonecrest in metropolitan Atlanta. In this role, he helped rebuild the Development Services Division and the Stonecrest Development Authority, creating the East Atlanta Entertainment District and leading the initiative to develop a new City Center to drive economic development and tourism in the area. Green also led the efforts to update the 2038 Citywide Comprehensive Plan and helped establish the Stonecrest Economic Development Plan.

Green holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Washburn University in Kansas, with an emphasis on international marketing and finance.

Green has led teams in the planning and execution of economic development initiatives, which have won six International Economic Development Council Awards for Excellence and numerous state and regional awards.

Emily coordinates development and capital projects for the City of Virginia Beach and the Virginia Beach Development Authority.

Natalie oversees the strategic alignment for all business development including business attraction and retention, workforce, small business, and marketing.

Ihsane leads workforce attraction, workforce development, and The HIVE. The HIVE is the City of Virginia Beach Business Resource Center with programs, and initiatives to assist entrepreneurs, new and existing businesses grow and succeed.

Pam manages Virginia Beach Development Authority assets and projects.

Vicente is based in Madrid, Spain and represents Virginia Beach’s interests in the Spanish, Portuguese, and French markets.

He offers assistance to companies abroad that are interested in establishing in Virginia Beach.

Lucas is based in Madrid, Spain and represents Virginia Beach’s interests in the Spanish, Portuguese, and French markets. He offers assistance to companies abroad that are interested in establishing in Virginia Beach.

Charles is based in Ipswich, England and represents Virginia Beach’s interests in the United Kingdom and Irish markets. He offers assistance to companies abroad that are interested in establishing in Virginia Beach.
