A Virginia Beach company’s expansion will enhance its ability to deliver cutting-edge medical equipment, supplies and simulation technologies on a national level. BMK Ventures Inc., will break ground on its new corporate headquarters in Virginia Beach 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 1245 Perimeter Parkway.

The 40,000-square-foot facility in Corporate Landing business park will serve as headquarters for assembly, warehousing and distribution. BMK is investing $6.95 million and will create 20 new jobs with an average salary of $65,000.

BMK — a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in medical simulation systems, training solutions and procurement services — currently operates from 1112 Jensen Drive, Suite 101. BMK brings mission-critical solutions to U.S. military, federal agencies, first responders and medical institutions.

Guest speakers include Pete D. Campbell, CEO of BMK Ventures, and Virginia Beach Mayor Robert M. “Bobby” Dyer. Together they will underscore the significance of public-private cooperation in boosting local economic development and innovation.
