Ignite Business Series Pitch Competition Event Postponed to March 2022

First pitch competition hosted by Council Member Sabrina Wooten focuses on young adult entrepreneurs

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Nov. 18, 2021) – The first Ignite Business Series Pitch competition originally scheduled for Nov. 20, 2021 is rescheduled for March 12, 2022 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, 1000 19^th St, to allow more prospective participants an opportunity to submit their applications.

This is an opportunity for young adult entrepreneurs to apply to pitch for a dedicated time slot to present new business concepts to a panel of judges for critique and feedback while vying for a customized coaching and mentorship package courtesy of the City of Virginia Beach Economic Development’s The Hive business center.

"Virginia Beach is committed to the growth and development of young adult start-up businesses," said Council Member Sabrina D. Wooten. “This fun event will offer both professional feedback and support for new business ideas and dreams to come to fruition."
