“Our International Incubator program has given companies from around the world a place to begin building their U.S. presence in Virginia Beach,” said Emily Archer, City of Virginia Beach, director of Economic Development. “Over five years we’ve welcomed 19 companies and seen a range of industries interested in growing here. VBED and The HIVE are proud to work alongside VBDA to help these businesses make connections and find opportunities in Virginia Beach.”

With international companies navigating tariffs and the demands of entering a new market, the International Incubator provides office space in Virginia Beach’s Town Center where businesses can begin establishing their U.S. operations. The HIVE offers additional business resources for international companies expanding to the United States.

The anniversary reflects Virginia Beach’s continued efforts to attract businesses from around the world and support their growth in the City.
