Princess Anne Commons is a medical, recreation, higher education, and manufacturing hub located in the City's southern portion and adjacent to the City's municipal complex along ​Princess Anne Road. In addition, it is Virginia Beach’s leading destination for bio and life sciences companies and members of the growing biomedical, healthcare, and life sciences workforce and their families. The area's health care cluster includes LifeNet Health, a global leader in the field of regenerative medicine and organ donation, and Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, the region's newest hospital which employs 1,230 people. ​

Innovation Park

The 155-acre Innovation Park, owned by the Virginia Beach Development Authority, is located in the Princess Anne Commons Area. Two developments (encompassing the majority of Phase I land) were secured and are currently underway.

Jones & Cabacoy Veterans Care Center (Opening 2023)

The Virginia ​Department of Veterans Services is building a 128-​bed, 141,000-square-foot facility in the Princess Anne Commons corridor focusing on veterans' care. The center will provide skilled nursing, Alzheimer's/memory care, and short-term rehabilitation services. The City of Virginia Beach will extend Nimmo Parkway to allow access to the facility.
