BMK Ventures to Expand at New Facility in Corporate Landing Business Park in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (August 16, 2022) — Driven by its recent rapid growth, BMK Ventures, Inc. (BMKV) announced that it will be moving from its former location at 1112 Jensen Drive to Corporate Landing Business Park and will build a 39,000-square-foot facility to serve as its headquarters. BMKV will purchase approximately 3.5 acres of land in the business park, at $200,000 per acre.

Earlier today, the Virginia Beach Development Authority awarded an Economic Development Investment Program grant of $169,000 to BMKV to help it grow by supporting its job creation and capital investment.

BMKV is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business based in Virginia Beach that distributes medical and related supplies as well as equipment to various government echelons. The company also has a presence in Kentucky. Locally, BMKV services a spectrum of clients such as warfighters, first responders and medical personnel – serving those that serve us.

“Our rapid growth and a new building helps us hire more veterans and provide a state-of-the-art facility to continue our important mission of ‘Serving Those That Serve Us’,” added BMKV President Mike Whetstone.

Once built, the new location will house 30 full-time employees (10 existing and 20 new employees) in varied specialties with an average annual salary of $65,000. The project’s total capital investment is $6.9 million which consists of real estate, furniture and fixtures, and machinery and tools.
