Aloha Snacks Celebrates Opening with Ribbon Cutting on February 5

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - (February 2, 2018) - Aloha Snacks, located at 501 Laskin Road in Virginia Beach, officially celebrates its opening with a ribbon cutting on Monday, February 5 at 10 a.m. The new restaurant serves a fun, modern take on traditional Hawaiian food with influences on Asian and Southern cuisine.
Aloha Snacks is a clever, fast-casual restaurant with a menu designed to target customers on the go or looking for a relaxed atmosphere to dine. Geared towards high volume, to-go ordering, Aloha Snacks also offers a convenient pick-up window for call-in orders. The restaurant is the brainchild of Chef Jesse Wykle, who has 18+ years of experience in high-end, high-volume restaurants. Wykle was previously the chef with Zoes Steak & Seafood in Virginia Beach, and he has been invited to cook at the famous James Beard House in New York City.
Aloha Snacks' signature dishes feature fresh tuna and salmon poke, burgers, clockwise fries and Saimin, a noodle soup dish developed by different immigrant groups in Hawaii Inspired by Japanese ramen, Chinese mein, and Filipino pancit. In addition to the menu, espresso, draft beer and a connoisseur's wine list are available.
