Haulotte North America Opens Corporate Headquarters in Virginia Beach

Haulotte North America celebrates its North American headquarters on March 23, 2016. Virginia Beach Mayor William D. Sessoms will join the leaders of Haulotte Group from France along with major clients and partners from around the world for the official grand opening ceremony.The company is a subsidiary of Haulotte Group based in L’Horme, France, the third-largest worldwide manufacturer of aerial work platforms such as scissor lifts and boom lifts. The new office is a relocation of its existing North America headquarters from Frederick, MD.With the relocation of the facility, Haulotte Group has created 44 jobs in Virginia Beach.The 83,000-square-foot facility at 3409 Chandler Creek Road supports the company’s executive offices, customer sales and service support, training center, and distribution functions of spare parts and finished goods. Additionally, the customer care center will oversee parts fulfillment, warehousing, pre-delivery inspections and repairs.Aerial work platforms made by Haulotte Group in manufacturing facilities in Ohio, China, France, and Romania will be distributed throughout North America through the new Virginia Beach headquarters.Haulotte Group’s product portfolio includes articulating and telescopic booms, electric and rough terrain scissor lifts, towable and light-weight self-propelled booms, vertical masts and telehandlers.“We’ve been anticipating this opening and adding another international business to our local business community,” said Warren D.
