Tidewater Tactical, founded in 2007, provides tactical equipment for the special operations community, all branches of the military, local and federal law enforcement agencies and private contracting firms. The company will relocate its corporate headquarters and expand operations in Virginia Beach.

Tidewater Tactical has purchased a former bank facility located at 2022 Pleasure House Road. The company plans to renovate the property with completion expected in December 2014. The expansion will allow the company to add five new jobs.

The company also specializes in developing custom gear with its manufacturing arm Bellum Designs LLC.

“We would like to thank the City of Virginia Beach for their much appreciated assistance,” said Trevor Pantone, founder & CEO of Tidewater Tactical. “The team at Tidewater Tactical is very excited to be growing and becoming more of an integral part of this community. All of us are proud of our military and first responders and believe this move will enable us to better serve them.”

“This is another example of a small, women-, and minority-owned (SWaM) certified business that is growing and succeeding in Virginia Beach,” said Warren D. Harris, director of Virginia Beach Economic Development. “We are anticipating that Tidewater Tactical will continue to grow and provide services and products to our front-line responders.”
