Zero Point, Inc. to Build New Corporate Headquarters in Virginia Beach

Zero Point, Inc. has been working with the Virginia Beach Department of Economic Development to find a new location for its corporate headquarters since 2014. The company has selected a new location in Virginia Beach over other options in North Carolina.The current location at 1763 Princess Anne Road was established as the corporate headquarters in 2006. The company has grown significantly, and the need for an expansion and a larger workforce has prompted the move.Zero Point, Inc. will build a new 15,000-square-foot corporate headquarters on 1.84 acres at 2553 Horse Pasture Lane. The company’s investment in the new building and new equipment will involve a substantial capital investment into the community. The company will also hire 89 new employees over the next five years with average annual salaries of $66,040 excluding benefits.Zero Point, Inc. provides products and training to support our nation’s national security efforts in countering terrorism and threats at home and abroad. The company has extensive experience in manufacturing military field kits, hardware and technology. Services include government acquisition support, IED and WMD expertise, asymmetric intelligence analysis and electronic counter measures. Harris, director of Virginia Beach Economic Development. “Our department has worked diligently to retain this very successful business, and we are very pleased they have the confidence to build a new corporate headquarters and expand its highly skilled workforce in Virginia Beach.” The Virginia Beach Economic Development Authority has approved an Economic Development Investment Program (EDIP) grant in the amount of $125,000 for Phase I based on the number of jobs created. Additionally, Zero Point, Inc. has been approved for a Virginia Jobs Investment Program grant in the amount of $76,700. The Authority will review an additional EDIP grant in the amount of $100,000 for Phase II at a later date.“We are excited about the opportunity to expand our operations in Virginia Beach,” said Zero Point, Inc.
